Our beautiful Angel has gone home now
The angel has gone home now,
And ‘tho we miss her so much;
She’ll have no more troubles or worries,
‘Cause she’s in Gods touch!!!

She had blond hair like spun gold,
That nothing could ever compare;
She had her Daddys mischievious grin,
And her Moms peachy skin, so rare!!

I remember a little lady,
Who loved to run and play
“I’m gonna go play with my shriend, now”
Is what she used to say.

But God looked down and say this sweet angel,
And He held His arms open wide;
And the gates of heaven swung open.
And our sweet little angel stepped inside.

Her stay was a very brief one,
But God said he needed her more,
He smiled down at the sweet little angel,
And our angel smiled & entered that golden door.

It’s hardest on the loved ones left behind,
Because we are so lonely & sad;
And the lump in your throat matches one in your chest,
And you feel like you’ll never again be glad.

Sometimes we question God’s reasons,
And we say: “What did you do this for!!!??”
Then we get mad, then it turns back to sad,
And then we weep and weep some more.

Bur our angel has gone home now,
She’s entered a heavenly state of rest;
But for the little time we had our little angel,
We were truly, truly blessed!
